When you first plug your device into a computer running macOS you may see the following dialog box from the Keyboard Setup Assistant.

You can choose to quit the application.

If you clicked Continue instead of Quit you see the following dialog box. You can safely close it and start using your device.

The Keyboard Setup Assistant should not show up again unless you plug the device into another computer or another account on the same computer.
